IFT Single Series Design Features
Heavy Duty Strut Design
IFT Models feature a heavy duty strut design which incorporates a thick stabilizing and supporting strut between each durable urethane roller. The beefy strut provides maximum strength, durability and performance ensuring no bending, warping, or possibly even complete failure of the axles. The tough, rugged strut design also ensures that the IFT units maintain a consistent and correct direction of travel while under a heavy rigging load.
Low Profile Design
IFT Models feature the same 4.25 inch low height profile as all the other Skates & Dollies produced by TPX Machine Skates™. The low clearance profile design is essential for providing a quick and effective method for moving and rigging heavy loads. The low 4.25 inch rigging skate height creates a scenario where the load being transported only has to be lifted a few inches in order to position the IFT Models under the load properly. Several models of Toe Jacks are available for lifting rigging loads.
Rugged, Carrying Handle
IFT Models feature a rugged, built-in carrying and positioning handle. The handle provides a convenient method to transport and store the IFT Models. The thick, substantial handle is also the most effective way to position and place the IFT units under a large rigging load. The heavy duty handle can also serve as an attachment point for ropes, cables and chains that may be necessary during a rigging load relocation. The carrying handle is attached permanently to the IFT models with a substantial weld to ensure years of simple, durable utility for the user.
Bolt On Axle Design
IFT Models feature a simple, effective bolt on / bolt off axle assembly. If the need arises to clean or replace the high quality urethane rollers, the changeover is easy and straightforward. A couple of common wrenches are all the tools needed to get the job done fast and efficiently. The simple bolt on / bolt off axle assembly feature can be a great time-saving convenience when moving or rigging a heavy load away from the shop.
Mix & Match Capability
IFT Models are part of the entire line of Machine Skates made by TPX Machine Skates™ that feature a low profile, low clearance design with a uniform height of 4.25 inches from the flooring surface. The mix & match capability allows the IFT units to be used in conjunction with any of the other models, providing the user with many different configuration options. A pair of IFT Models along with an adjustable alignment bar make up the FT Fixed Models option which in turn can be paired with the ST Steerable Skates to form the SFT 3-Point System. Also, the RT Rotating Skates are a great option when maximum maneuverability is desired.
